Finally at last, spring/summer has arrived. It didn't take Logan long to remember how much fun he can have outside. We took him to the park one day. Logan was a little hesitant with the first slide, but as he watched all the other kids running around he began following them. He really enjoyed going down the slides, but not so interested in the swings.
Logan has recently fallen in love with coloring. We can color for hours, well as long as it's his Woody Buzz coloring book. His favorite movies! Steve's excited to take him to Toy Story 3 next week. Let's just say sidewalk chalk is a new favorite activity...next to playing sports with daddy. He actually doesn't mind getting dirty as you can see. Apparently tracing bodies is the new hit with Logan.
Logan's golfing skills are better than ever. Maybe it's because he can play golf inside and on the Wii throughout the winter. Our neighbors comment at how good he is with hitting the balls. The kid has an amazing hand-eye coordination when it comes to sports!
Striking a great golfing pose. Yes, you are probably wondering he always insists on wearing his sunglasses. It's actually a battle to have him take them off when we come inside. Such a stud!!!
The beginning of an absolute gorgeous, warm Memorial Day weekend. I daringly toughed up the pain, and ventured out to enjoy some sun. I sure hope the summer isn't over after baby comes, because being on bed rest is really rough on beautiful sunny days in Alaska.
Daddy got home from work and had to persuade Logan to run through the sprinklers. At first, Logan didn't want to change out of his pants. Once his swim trunks were on, he kept trying to pull them down (he's so use to wearing pants). Truly an Alaskan boy! All his worries were quickly forgotten once he realized how much fun getting wet with daddy could be. Such goofy boys loving the water & sun!
Thankfully the next day, he allowed me to put shorts on him. He's such a stylin' dude.

Logan was exhausted from helping daddy mow the lawn. He has his very own bubble lawn mower and usually follows behind for most of the time. Apparently Steve didn't get the memo that it was break time!

To finish off the weekend, Daddy & Logan surprised mommy by planting some flowers. Thanks to my wonderful gardeners we'll have some pretty flowers all summer long. Thanks guys!!!

Very fun memorial day weekend!! Your lawn is looking great and pretty flowers. Way to go Steve and Logan!
What fun pictures! I can hardly wait to come to Alaka and be Logan's daytime playmate! Hang in there Cammie...it's all definitely worth it! Cute shot of Logan lounging in his chair on the deck! Summer time, and the living is easy!!! Love, Mom
Love the update! Super cute pictures. Carson loves Toy Story as well, he has Buzz pjs and runs around with his arms stretched saying "to in-pin-in-e and beyond" - it is so funny! Can't wait for them to be together and be able to play! Love to you all!
The grass is sure looking green. It looks like you have so much fun together. I wish we could live closer together, we sure like to pick the extreme weathers, don't we? Alaska seems so fun though. I don't know many places where you get regular visits from moose.
